I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER, ART/STORY DIRECTOR, & FILM EDUCATOR

I'm a Utah-based hybrid photographer-- that’s digital AND film-- photographing creatives & families who crave design, art, beauty & emotion with a good dose of storytelling in their images.  Going on my seventh year in the business of photography, I still get excited when there’s a camera in my hands and an idea for an image in my mind and light & storytelling approached in an interesting way is what really drives me.

Slow morning moments are my favorite time of day and I do my best to soak them up with a cup of coffee and something delicious whenever I can. My free time is precious to me and I like to spend it adventuring through the beautiful Utah mountains with my family & a pocket full of film.

FILM OBSESSED & HANGING OUT ON INSTAGRAM??

OH MAN, DO I HAVE A GOODIE FOR YOU

Most people struggle with film when they start out because it requires a brain switch from the digital approach.  Of course, that combined with the fact that there’s very little information on the internets to help you put the pieces together doesn’t help one bit. Whether you’re starting out with film or a more seasoned shooter be sure to check out my IG account every Friday for a FILM FRIDAY tip in my stories. I talk about film cameras, how to create dynamic double exposures, quick tips on metering, and loads more. I love tailoring to my followers’ real-life issues and interests so if you've got a major question burning DM me and I'll be sure to cover it.
