For this project, we decided together that the images needed to be full of feeling and much much less traditional to get her brand across. She made it through a harrowing experience with breast cancer & really wanted to be able to connect and relate with her patients immediately through the imagery. Because that was the goal, I suggested really leaning into experimental grunge, grain & blurs to get as much feeling in as possible. We also played around with bright color transparencies to give it a little bad-assery.

This shoot was pretty damn unique. Because the client lives in Pennsylvania and I wasn’t able to travel to her at the time we decided on a virtual online session. We shot the photos through her iphone using an app, then I downloaded the images and shot them again using different photography techniques to give it the emotion we wanted.
